The Order of the Daughters of the King ®
The Order of the Daughters of the King ® (Daughters) is an international lay order for women communicants of the Episcopal, Anglican, Lutheran (ELCA) and Roman Catholic churches.
Daughters are pledged to a program of prayer, service and evangelism. Members pray daily for the church, parishioners, family and others.
The Holy Trinity (HT) chapter, St. Francis, meets the first Friday of every month at the church in Sifford Hall at 9:30 a.m.
St. Francis Chapter is vibrant and growing, with new daughters added nearly every year since its beginning at Holy Trinity.
In addition to prayer, other ministries include:

Blessing of the Animals: the chapter hosts this blessing in October each year to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi.

Church Pews: Daughters maintain church informational brochures and prayer cards in church pew racks.

Holiday Food baskets: The Daughters pack food boxes for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

Presents: Each child whose family receives a Christmas Food basket receives a Christmas present.

"Goodie bags"; Each child whose family receives an Easter Food Box receives an Easter goodie bag.
