Holy Trinity Choir

The choir at Holy Trinity is made up of dedicated volunteers who sing for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service from September through Trinity Sunday, as well as for memorial services and special church services during Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter. The choir is open to all without audition. Contact the music director, Lynn Payette, if you are interested in joining.

Lectors

Lectors are lay* persons trained in reading scripture. Appointed by the clergy, they read the lessons and may lead the prayers of the people. The term lector is from the Latin word lÄ“ctor ,"to read." There is no license required for this ministry.  (*lay means not ordained)

Ushers and Greeters

This is the ministry of hospitality. They greet parishioners and visitors, distribute service bulletins, facilitate Holy Communion and orient visitors to the church.

Eucharistic Ministers (EM)

Eucharistic Ministers are lay*persons approved by the Bishop to assist the clergy for all Eucharistic services. From carrying the cross that leads the ministers and choir to holding the Gospel book, their presence and ministry enrich the worship experience. They may also administer the chalice as directed by clergy.  (*lay means not ordained)

 Eucharistic Visitors (EV)

Eucharistic Visitors are lay* persons licensed by the Bishop and serve when requested by the clergy. Their ministry is to take the blessed host and wine immediately after the service to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, are unable to be present at the church service. (*lay means not ordained)

Altar Guild

The ministry of the Altar Guild is often behind the scenes, but critical to a wonderful worship experience. They prepare the sanctuary, sacred vessels and linens for every service held in the church during the year. This includes all regularly scheduled weekly services plus Christmas Eve, Holy Week and additional services for funerals and weddings. Holy Trinity’s Altar Guild is open to anyone who would like to experience a most rewarding ministry.

Stream Team

Members of the team rotate responsibility to operate the cameras and computer software used to stream services.  Holy Trinity live-streams the Sunday main service and other special services throughout the year. We stream to both Facebook and YouTube.

This ministry allows anyone who cannot be in church to watch the service online live or later.
