Welcome to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church
A God-centered, active, fun-loving congregation
New Message From Fr. Kaminski
Patience: We have had several wondering about the time table for gathering at Holy Trinity again. At this time we have no plans to reopen Holy Trinity's facilities for public worship or large social gatherings through the month of August. Our intention is to establish as safe an environment as possible for our members, visitors and all who live in Hot Springs Village. We know everyone is anxious and excited about being with the Holy Trinity family again, but continued patience is needed. Please know that we will make our decision to reopen in consultation with our Bishop and following CDC guidelines.
Sunday Worship: Sunday worship will continue online in July. The service can be found at 10:30 a.m. both on this website and Holy Trinity’s Facebook page. However, the service will change from Morning Prayer to The Word of God. The Word of God consists of the first half of the service of Holy Eucharist, but not the celebration of the Eucharist itself. The order of service will be familiar to our parishioners.
Small Groups: Beginning Tuesday, July 7th, Holy Trinity re-opened for small group gatherings. This allows Church members (only) to meet inside Sifford Hall with a maximum of 15 people. It also allows for our Church to have up to 50 people gather outside should we consider any outside meeting. This is not opening up the Sanctuary or reopening for Sunday services at this time. Just Sifford Hall and our outside area. Guidelines (including face masks and social distancing) and Documentation Forms (for contact tracing) that will be used for all gatherings are available in the office. Please email or call the office to schedule any get-together. Click here for the Gathering Guidelines.
As mentioned during the Wednesday Facebook Update, I have received permission from Bishop Benfield to begin small (maximum 15 people) Evening Prayer services in Sifford Hall. Though both Garland and Saline counties are above the COVID-19 threshold of 10:10,000, Bishop Benfield is allowing us to move forward, on a trial basis.
My hope is that this will become a regular offering for our members. However, there are several details to be resolved before we begin. More information will be forthcoming in the next Wednesday Facebook Update on August 12. Please stay tuned.
