Holy Communion Drive-Thru
October 11, 2020
October 16th Message From Fr. Neil
Holy Eucharist and
Last Sunday we had a successful drive-thru Holy Communion. Altogether, 30 people received. While we were prepared, that was more people than I thought might make the trip. We are prepared for this Sunday, and I am asking Diane to include the basic directions again. I hope we will see you following the 10:30 a.m. service.
Next week we will open our online registration for two special services to be held in the last week of October, on Wednesday the 28th and Friday the 30th. On Wednesday, October 28, we will celebrate the Holy Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. and commemorate the lives of Saint Simon and St. Jude. Attendance will be limited to 15 parishioners.
Then on Friday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m. we will read the burial office for Sally Zauner using Rite One, with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Sally’s daughter Lori Frazier and husband Greg Frazier will be present and participate in the service. Attendance will be limited to 25 parishioners.
Please be sure to register online to attend or call the church office at #922-0299. We hope that these two services will help us to be better prepared for moving towards Sunday in-person worship (as soon as the numbers allow).

Information on Drive-thru Communion:
Fr. Neil will celebrate the Holy Eucharist in a live-stream service at 10:30 Sunday morning and will bless additional elements for distribution to parishioners.
Following the service, from 12:00 noon - 1:00pm, parishioners may drive to Holy Trinity to receive Communion in their cars.
Simply drive up to the covered walkway and remain in your vehicle. Fr. Neil or Deacon Brenda will administer Communion. Together, you will say the “Prayer of Humble Access,” receive Communion, and then join together in the postcommunion prayer. Once done, you will be able to drive away and the next car will be served.
